Easily the most amazing thing I’ve seen all week.  Thanks!

It looks like a flying Pagani. I want one of those aircraft emergency chutes though. My dad is a pilot, he said some new small aircraft have them.

Cirrus innovation. SR20 had, followed by the SR22.

A lot of the homebuilts now have them— even the newer Kitfox and Bearhawks I think can be so configured . I’m lusting for a Bearhawk out here in the desert. STOL-ish, rugged gear.

That Klein mechanism to stow not just the primary airfoil, but also the control surfaces, is damn cool.  Makes me wonder about “reliability” and “robustness”. but...

I was thinking of powered para gliding, maybe with the trike, I have tons of parachute experience so I don’t think it would be a huge problem for me.

It’s an interesting concept, but I’m not sure how it’s going to solve the problems of previous flying cars.

The aircraft features take up almost all the useable space as a car. I wonder how much the automotive perfor mance is compromised.

The automotive features add weight and drag to the airplane, so I would expect it to have a fairly short range in the air.

It’s an interesting concept, but I can’t imagine it does more than the basic minimum in either role. However, I’m sure that there are plenty of people who will want one.

I can only imagine how much it’s going to cost to fix one of those after the village idiot hits it on the road while texting and driving.

Yeah that is a factor. It would be for someone with specific needs and fuck you money for sure. If you have some land far out somewhere you could fly there, but if you had that money why not just keep a vehicle out there and fly in a real small aircraft. It starts to seem useless if you have the money to do other things.

Huh, that sure looks like fun doesn’t it? Weird though, cause in  a car you want the body to give you downforce, wonder how that works out in the air

Cool! No doubt. Is it a good car? Kind of heavy [all those actuators, wings, motors , all on  skinny tires...Is it a good airplane? I’m guessing a high basic weight which means low useful load. What would be the usefulness other than duh, F lying C ar!? Will it ever be certified, or forever stuck in the Experimental category? Closest to the dream, but I think still sort of a pipe dream. Nice design though.

It’s cool, this chopper looks neat but I haven’t seen it fly.

This thing is cool, but I don’t think they have flown it, I don’t see any evidence that it flies though.
